2. recognise the correct level of water in a fish tank and refill safely as necessary on at least two occasions

3. monitor the temperature of the water against given guidelines, record the temperature readings and recognise safe limits, on at least two occasions

4. change a water filter in the tank at least once

shown knowledge of

5. four different signs of ill health in fish and how to treat these, eg fin rot, dropsy, cloudy eye, white spot

6. at least three considerations to take into account when choosing tropical fish, eg comparability, size of tank, amount of fish

7. at least four different kinds of tropical fish which could be kept in a tank.
