STATES OF MATTER: PHYSICAL CHANGES OF SOLIDS, LIQUIDS AND GASES

4. show in a diagram, how particles are arranged in solids, liquids and gases	Student completed work
5. recognise the difference between a solid, a liquid and a gas in terms of ease of flow, maintenance of shape and compressibility	Student completed work
6. describe solid, liquids and gases using the following factual information: (a) that the particles of a solid are very close together and cannot move from place to place (b) that the particles of a liquid are close together and move around each other (c) that the particles of a gas are well spread out and move around.
