4. heat the wax using a water bath

7. place and secure a wick into the centre of the candle jar using a glue dot

8. pour the wax into the candle jar and leave to cool

9. top up the wax if necessary

10. trim the wick

11. design a label to attach to the candle jar

12. place the candle jar in a cellophane bag and secure with a decorative ribbon
