PLANNING A CHILD'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Level: Level One

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
shown knowledge of 1. the main stages of a child's emotional development from birth to ten years	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
demonstrated the ability to 2. organise a birthday party for a child in a selected emotional stage of development, selecting an appropriate venue and theme and arranging suitable activities and timings	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3. cost the items for their planned birthday party, including decorations, venue and entertainment	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4. select at least two healthy food choices for their planned birthday party	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5. cost the food budget for their planned party.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
