If successfully completing this unit, the Learner will haveEvidence needed

demonstrated the ability to

1. match at least two pictures of infant animals to the corresponding adult animals and give the name of the infant or adult animal, eg foal

2. describe an animal using more than one attribute, eg birds have feathers and legs

3. name at least three common animals and make or recognise the sounds each of these animals make

4. name a minimum of three wild, farm and pet animals

5. understand that animals have bones and can match at least two skeletons to the correct animal.
