In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. name one or more planets in the solar system	Summary sheet
2. find out two key facts about one or more planets in the solar system	Summary sheet
3. make a poster about a chosen planet including the name of the planet and illustrating two key facts	Student completed work
4. participate in setting up an obstacle course based on the solar system with individual obstacles named after planets	Summary sheet
5. use the space race obstacle course on at least five occasions to take part in physical activities, eg dribbling a ball, bouncing a ball, bat and ball activities	Summary sheet
6. time at least two others who are participating in the space race activities	Student completed work
7. keep a record of their own performance in the space race activities	Student completed work
experienced 8. taking part in a discussion about the solar system.	Summary sheet
