READING AND RESPONDING TO CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. take part in the reading of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory	Summary sheet
2. use their communication book to describe three of the main characters	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3. write a short review of the book using their communication book	Student completed work
experienced 4. baking something using the key ingredient, chocolate, with support	Summary sheet
5. watching both versions of the film	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to 6. compare the films and find at least two differences and similarities between them	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
7. take part in a discussion with another student about what they thought of the story.	Summary sheet
