2. recognise the structure of a song and the the role of each part, eg the verse is the story and the chorus is the big message

3. count the length in bars and beats for each section

4. write lyrics that follow a given structure and which have a clear message and a coherent story

5. deliver the lyrics in a flowing style and manner that matches the pace and groove of the backing track and conveys the meaning of the words.
