In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed

2. describe what a 'diyas' is and how it is used	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3. describe what a 'rangoli' is and what it symbolises	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
demonstrated the ability to 4. follow a given recipe to create a culinary dish related to Diwali	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
5. design and produce a rangoli pattern	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
6. make and display a diyas	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
shown knowledge of 7. taste testing at least one culinary dish or sweet related to Diwali.	Summary sheet
