In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

demonstrated the ability to

1. open a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet

2. enter an appropriate title into the 'Sheet 1' tab of the spreadsheet

3. enter given data into at least two columns of a blank Excel spreadsheet

4. resize the column of descriptive data so that all data entered lies within the visible column width

5. use autosum on the numeric column of data

6. insert an empty column after the first column of data entered

7. insert an empty row between the data entered and the numeric total

8. copy, paste and move at least two pieces of data into different cells

9. sort the data in the cells numerically and alphabetically

10. identify at least three pieces of data from a given worksheet, eg items for sale, cost, sales price

11. save and print off the completed spreadsheet.
