In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	test the functions of a bicycle on a bicycle work stand, including the brakes and gears if fitted	Summary sheet
2	with the bike still on the stand, check all the nuts and bolts are tight and that the bicycle is safe to ride	Summary sheet
3	wear and correctly adjust a bicycle helmet	Summary sheet
4	ride a bicycle safely and responsibly over a given distance, following instructions to further test the functions of the bicycle	Summary sheet
5	identify any areas of the bicycle that require maintenance or repair.	Summary sheet
