In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

demonstrated the ability to

1. prepare for a cycle ride, eg by putting on a helmet and getting on the bicycle correctly

2. start and stop the bike safely, ie using a 2 o’clock position with the right foot, and stopping with both brakes

4. ride safely as part of a group, keeping three to four bike lengths from the rider in front, over a given distance
