1. get on and off a balance bicycle successfully

2. lean and turn in the same direction whilst static

3. stride forwards, whilst leaning and turning together in the same direction

4. take longer strides forwards, whilst leaning and turning together in the same direction

5. stop safely, pulling both brakes if brakes are fitted

6. gain momentum and lift both legs up and balance for two to three seconds

7. lift both legs up and balance for four to five seconds

8. lift both legs up and balance for six to seven seconds

9. attempt to balance on a bicycle with pedals for eight to nine seconds

10. pedal the bicycle forwards for 15 seconds.
