In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

demonstrated the ability to

1. take part in a minimum of two lessons in physical activity

2. show co-ordination by performing at least one throw and catch activity for 20 repetitions

3. show power by completing 30 seconds of pad work with supporting staff, on at least one occasion

4. show agility by running or dribbling in and out of cones for one minute on at least one occasion

5. show muscular strength by completing 20 air or weighted squats on at least one occasion

6. measuring reaction time by performing the ruler drop test with supporting staff, and recording the results on at least one occasion

7. performing at least one cardiovascular based exercise such as walking or cycling for a minimum of three minutes

8. completing a cool down consisting of three yoga or stretching exercises, eg child's pose, knee to chest or plank.
