2. identify four features of a section of the text, in response to a question

3. match key word class terminology to their definitions

4. match key sentence type and function terminology to their definitions

5. match key language features and technique terminology to their definitions

6. identify, in an extract of approximately 150 words, at least three features of language used to create a specific effect on the reader

7. identify, for each of the features identified, how this is intended to affect the reader

8. write at least one paragraph which explains how a writer has used language to present an idea to the reader, using quotations and subject terminology appropriately.
