In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	research and test at least two types of warm-up, cool-down and main activities, focusing on a specific sport and skill, and select the best ones for use	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	apply the four-step thought process of a sports leader when leading a session, eg spatial awareness, activity, equipment and personnel	Summary sheet
3	create a three-part lesson plan detailing at least three lesson stages, the necessary resources and at least two learning objectives	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4	teach a session on a specific sport and skill by providing the necessary equipment, demonstrating the activities and coaching the students to improve	Summary sheet
5	evaluate their own performance in leading a session	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6	give constructive feedback to at least five students about their leadership skills.	Summary sheet
