USING THE BBC MICRO:BIT TO ANIMATE AN ANIMAL AND ADAPT THE CODE

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. code the BBC micro:bit computer using the animated animals programme, on at least one occasion	Summary sheet
2. use a 5 x 5 grid draw a new design to animate	Student completed work
3. use another 5 x 5 grid to change the design to animate it	Student completed work
4. recode the micro:bit using the new pictures	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5. explore what happens if they change the pause time	Summary sheet
shown knowledge of 6. explain the main reasons why the pause blocks are needed.	Student completed work
