demonstrated the ability to 1. match sounds to the letters of the alphabet	Summary sheet
2. match letters to simple consonant-vowel-consonant words	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
3. discriminate and identify different sounds of the alphabet	Summary sheet
shown knowledge of 4. initial letter sounds linked to the alphabet.	Summary sheet
