In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed

1	take part in a discussion about different housing options	Summary sheet
2	identify what is necessary in order to access one of the following: a private rented flat/bedsit, a council tenancy or a housing association flat	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
3	find out what type of financial assistance may be available from the local authority and/or charity organisations to meet costs of moving in, decoration, rent and other bills	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
4	identify at least four things which should be checked when viewing a property	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
5	identify at least four things which should be checked before signing a tenancy agreement	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
6	identify at least two sources of help, advice and support in finding new accommodation and applying for financial assistance.	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
