1. identify a hot drink to make from a choice of tea or coffee

2. collect a mug and other necessary items to make the drink

3. fill a kettle and switch on

4. wait for the kettle to boil and ensure it switches itself off

5. pour the hot water into the mug

6. add a tea bag or coffee, and milk and sugar as desired

7. stir the drink and remove the tea bag if appropriate
