1. research and investigate the techniques employed by at least one recognised photographer or artist within the area of portraiture

2. use aspects of the information gained to produce at least three portrait studies, each demonstrating a different technical or compositional approach

3. use appropriate photographic and/or graphic techniques, eg use of light, film, lenses toning, hand colouring.
