In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. calculate simple fractions of money	Student completed work
2. create sets of equivalent fractions	Student completed work
3. use the terms 'numerator' and 'denominator' correctly	Student completed work
4. add fractions with the same denominator	Student completed work
5. add thirds, quarters and sixths giving the answers in the simplest terms	Student completed work
6. reduce fractions to their lowest terms	Student completed work
shown knowledge of 7. equivalence of simple fractions, eg 3/9 = 1/3.	Student completed work
