URBAN FASHION (UNIT 1): CUSTOMISING JEANS

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

1. attend at least two fashion design workshop sessions

3. choose at least four design techniques from a given selection, ie eyelet, gems, applique, painting, stenciling, fraying and apply these to denim samples

4. create a mood board to plan a design to personalise the jeans, taking design, colour, and textures into account, with support from the session leader where necessary

5. illustrate own design ideas on a given garment template, with support from session leader when necessary
