2. identify and name the main body parts close to the digestive system, ie windpipe, epiglottis, lungs, diaphragm, liver

3. state the main role of the stomach, ie to mix food with gastric juice

4. state the main roles of the small intestine, ie to continue digesting food and absorb useful products into the blood stream

5. state the main function of the large intestine, ie to absorb water and process waste through the rectum and anus

6. draw and label the human digestive system accurately, to show all the parts previously identified.
