Level: Pre-Entry Level

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. use a cooker hob to carry out at least two given tasks, eg heat a pan of soup, with supervision if necessary	Summary sheet
2. use an electric toaster to make at least two slices of toast with supervision if necessary	Summary sheet
3. use an oven to carry out at least two given tasks, eg bake potatoes, with supervision if necessary	Summary sheet
4. use an electric kettle to boil water for at least two given tasks, eg making a cup of tea, with supervision if necessary	Summary sheet
5. use a microwave oven to carry out at least two given tasks, eg heating a ready meal, with supervision if necessary	Summary sheet
experienced 6. using the above kitchen appliances safely and correctly to make food or drink for themself or others.	Summary sheet
