CREATING A CHARACTER FOR USE IN AN ANIMATION MOVIE

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

demonstrated the ability to

1. agree the story-line for an animation

2. develop one character, eg by deciding on the character’s traits and choosing a name for them

3. draw a picture, or get print-outs of the character, to make a prop to be used in the animation

4. decide on the special traits that make the character different

5. describe how the character’s traits affect the course and outcome of the story

6. create at least two additional props for use in the animation to illustrate the character’s traits and their role in the animation story.
