demonstrated the ability to

1. set up the equipment required for mixing sound

2. identify, locate and use all relevant switches and controls on a mixer and DJ Deck

3. recognise that different styles of music have different beats per minute

4. select four records of the same music style to mix together

5. manipulate the controls on the mixing desk to create at least five different sound effects, eg fade in and out

6. match beats in at least four different pieces of music.
