1. strip off wallpaper from walls using an appropriate method, eg soaking

2. strip paint from woodwork using appropriate tools, eg scraper

3. repair and fill any damaged walls

4. repair and fill any damaged woodwork

5. prepare woodwork for painting

6. apply appropriate paint to the woodwork, eg undercoat or gloss

7. apply wallpaper to walls using a suitable paste

8. apply emulsion to walls using suitable tools, eg large and small brushes

9. clean brushes and prepare for storage

10. clean the room ready for use.
