Teaching resources

Comprehensive guidance to support what your students should be able to do, including example exam questions.

Scheme of work

There is a two-year scheme of work that you can use to plan your lessons and support your students' learning.

Teaching guidance

The Teaching guidance is written by senior examiners and provides comprehensive guidance on each topic within the specification, including example questions.

Past papers and Marking Guidance

We have produced the following resources for teachers to aid students' preparation for success.

Past papers

Once an exam paper has been sat it will be available on Centre Services and All About Maths so you can use them for mock exams. We will upload the question papers within three days of the exam being sat. The corresponding mark schemes and reports on the exam will be uploaded on results day. Use the menu to find the past papers by examination series.

Practice papers and mark schemes

We have created practice papers and mark schemes for GCSE Statistics for you to use for mock exams.

These practice papers are in line with the specimen assessment materials that were approved by Ofqual and reflect the standard you can expect in exams.

We are not able to provide grade boundaries for these practice papers. Grade boundaries are only available once students have taken a live examination. These papers have not been taken by students and have therefore not been through the necessary marking and awarding process to determine where the grade boundaries lie.

Marking Guidance

The Marking Guidance is written by senior examiners and aims to help you mark like an examiner so that you can mark tests and mocks as accurately as possible.
