6. create a password with at least eight characters, using lower- and upper-case letters, numbers and symbols; keep it confidential and change it when prompted

7. turn on a device and enter the required account information on at least one occasion

8. use a mouse and keyboard on a computer and/or use a touch screen on a smart phone or tablet to find at least one application, choosing the correct icon on the home screen

9. safely connect a device to a secure Wi-Fi network, and enter the password when required

10. use the settings menu to change the device display to make the content easier to read

11. keep their login information for a device and any websites secure

12. update and change the password used to access the device when prompted.
