In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

1. investigate a given range of work experiences and select an appropriate one

2. select and wear appropriate clothing and or personal protective equipment during the chosen work experience

3. explain why safe behaviour and following health and safety instructions are important in the work experience

4. complete a range of tasks according to instructions given by the supervisor whilst on the work experience

5. identify at least two occasions when further support or guidance is required on the work experience and ask an appropriate person for this

6. attend the work experience regularly and punctually for a given period

7. take part in a review to reflect on the work experience, identifying at least two different areas that went well and at least one area for personal improvement
