Course summary

This webinar brings together research, assessment design and school-based perspectives to examine how accessibility is embedded in assessment design from the outset, how inclusive approaches operate in practice, and where further evidence and innovation are required.

The panel will include AQA's Head of Research and Evaluation, a lead from AQA’s Assessment Design and Principles team, a school leader with a focus on SEND and school improvement, and members of our Student Advisory Group contributing student-informed insights into assessment and access.

The discussion will consider current research evidence, areas of ongoing challenge, and how collaboration between researchers, practitioners and students can support the continued development of fairer and more inclusive assessment systems, while maintaining confidence in standards.
