PRODUCING A CV

Level: Level One

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
shown knowledge of 1. what a CV is and why it is needed	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to 2. fill in the personal details section of a CV template	Student completed work
3. fill in the education and employment history section of a CV template	Student completed work
4. produce a personal statement for a CV	Student completed work
5. review examples of completed CVs, discussing what is good and what is bad about them	Summary sheet
6. give a draft copy of their CV to their peers and the teacher	Summary sheet
7. make any necessary corrections and improvements to their CV, based on the feedback received	Summary sheet
8. print out a final draft of their CV	Student completed work
9. save the CV in more than one place as a backup.	Summary sheet
