CREATING A STOP-MOTION ANIMATION

Level: Level One

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
shown knowledge of 1. at least two different forms of animation	Student completed work
2. the key steps in how to make a stop-motion film	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
demonstrated the ability to 3. create a storyboard	Student completed work
4. create a suitable set	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5. create the appropriate characters for the story	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6. take a series of images to make into an animation	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
7. edit everything into a film	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
8. add a relevant soundtrack	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
experienced 9. using animation software on at least one occasion	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
10. using the key suitable equipment for set design on at least one occasion	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
11. using the key suitable equipment for filming on at least one occasion.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
