Designing and making a model of a pet

Level: Pre-Entry Level

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. name at least three different types of domestic pets, verbally or in writing	Summary sheet
2. select one type of pet and investigate it, eg by collecting pictures	Student completed work
3. draw a design for a model of their chosen type of pet	Student completed work
4. select the key materials required to construct the design, eg scrap materials, construction kit	Summary sheet
5. construct the designed model of a pet, with adult support if necessary	Summary sheet
experienced 6. taking part in at least one group discussion to evaluate their own work.	Summary sheet
