MAKING PANCAKES

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

1. follow a given recipe to make pancakes

3. weigh the ingredients correctly

4. mix the ingredients to make a pouring batter

5. heat the oil until hot, coat the sides of the frying pan, pour off the excess

6. pour enough batter to cover the base of the pan thinly

7. cook quickly until golden brown

8. toss and cook the second side, turn out onto greaseproof paper and serve with various accompaniments
