CREATING A MIXED MEDIA PICTURE: AUTUMN THEME

Level: Pre-Entry Level

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. study and discuss the appearance of trees in autumn	Summary sheet
2. discuss at least two activities available to people in autumn	Summary sheet
3. collect natural materials from the environment, eg twigs or leaves, and experiment with them to create printed marks	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4. create a mixed media picture using the natural materials	Student completed work
5. create a collage depicting an autumn scene	Student completed work
experienced 6. visiting an autumn rural environment.	Summary sheet
