NEA and MFL speaking tests
Non –exam assessments (NEA) are part of some GCSE, AS and A-Level qualifications and could include speaking tests, coursework, practical and any other internally assessed work.
When your learners' marks or files are ready for submission, you do this using either Centre Marks Submission (CMS) or Digital Media Portal (DMP) depending on the component and here are the guides for how to use each system
Speaking and listening tests are to be conducted according to the JCQ ‘ICE’ – Instructions for conducting examinations
We have also provided thorough guides for you to follow alongside the JCQ regulations - AQA MFL: conduct of 2025 speaking and listening tests
Our NEA page has all the information you need to understand the processes, moderation, deadlines, carry forwards and many other details including access to any record forms you require.
