Basic shampooing and conditioning of hair

2. gown a client for shampoo and conditioning	Summary sheet
3. check that the water is set to the correct temperature	Summary sheet
4. wet the client's hair	Summary sheet
5. apply appropriate shampoo to client's hair	Summary sheet
6. wash the client's hair using at least two of the three massage movements, eg effleurage, friction, rotary	Summary sheet
7. rinse all the shampoo from the hair	Summary sheet
8. apply surface conditioner	Summary sheet
9. comb the conditioner through the hair	Summary sheet
10. rinse all conditioner from hair	Summary sheet
11. towel dry the hair	Summary sheet
12. take the client to a workstation	Summary sheet
13. detangle hair from points to roots	Summary sheet
