How to prepare for exams in November
With the November series rapidly approaching, please look at our Key Dates and Timetables to help guide your schedule. It has important deadlines and tasks but please pay particular attention to the entry deadline. This year’s deadline is 4 October and you will be charged a late entry fee for anything submitted after this date. You’ll soon start to receive exam papers, attendance registers and stationery, so please make sure you handle, record and store these appropriately.
If you’re looking for help with the process of conducting exams, you can now book your place on one of our ‘running exams’ webinars taking place in October. This will cover:
- Room preparation
- Learner briefing
- Invigilation
- Before, during and after exams
If you’re unable to come to any of the sessions, a recorded version from the summer series is available on our training for exams officers YouTube channel along with other videos we hope you find useful.
To help you prepare for the upcoming exam series, we have a ‘Test label’ feature on Centre Services.
This is to help you check that your printer settings are correct, and which side up to place your label sheets, so you can do this before the pressure of exam day.
To try out the test label:
- log into Centre Services
- go to the Resources tab
- click Administration
- in the Search box, type ‘labels’
- the Test Label will appear as a PDF document for you to print
Submitting Estimated Entries for Summer
For some subjects, we need to plan ahead so we can make sure you have an allocated visiting examiner/moderator, and have certain pre-release exam materials before the exams start. We need to do this planning and send you these materials long before the summer entries deadline, so to help us do this, we need you to tell us your plans for summer 2026.
This applies to the following subjects:

If you plan to enter your learners for any of these qualifications, here you’ll find information on what you need to do, how to do it, and the deadlines for this.
