Basic working with Excel spreadsheets

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

demonstrated the ability to

1. open a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet

2. locate and identify given cells within the spreadsheet

3. iIdentify at least two pieces of data from a given worksheet, eg items for sale, cost price

4. identify the correct headings to be used when data is input into the spreadsheet

5. enter given data into the relevant cells under the correct headings

6. set cell format on all relevant cells to a given currency to two decimal places

7. add the requested formatting to the worksheet, eg font, cell colour and border

8. rename individual worksheets in the spreadsheet with an appropriate name

9. save the spreadsheet with an appropriate name

10. print the spreadsheet and exit the program.
