demonstrated the ability to

1. safely and responsibly select and use the correct tools for the task

2. remove and refit the engine

3. check and change the engine oil

4. check the condition of the spark plug and check the clearance gap

5. clean the air filter, replacing it if required

6. strip the go kart to its component parts and store them in an organised way

7. examine the component parts and repair or replace them as necessary

8. rebuild the go kart

9. check and adjust the tyre pressures and the accelerator cable

10. lubricate the steering rose joints, adjusting them if necessary.
