2. the following factual information: (a) a plant cell has a nucleus, cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm and a vacuole, (b) a nucleus controls the chemical reactions which take place in a cell, (c) the roots of a plant are sensitive to and grow towards a water supply, the shoots of a plant are sensitive to and grow towards a light source, (d) energy is made in a leaf through a process called photosynthesis, (e) that light plus carbon dioxide reacts to give glucose and oxygen, (f) that plants make energy through a process called respiration in the absence of a light source, (g) a plant will wilt without water, (h) a plant needs a supply of minerals for healthy growth, (i) plants are able to reproduce
