AQA - partnership teacher tapp

Launching the AQA Teacher Insight Programme

For over a century, AQA has worked alongside teachers.

Today, more than 40,000 teachers, lecturers, subject experts and academics help shape our qualifications, set and mark our exams, and support students. We've always believed that great qualifications are built through collaboration.

The AQA Teacher Insight Programme is the next step in that journey.

In partnership with Teacher Tapp, we’re creating more opportunities for teachers to share their views, contribute to important conversations and help inform the future of qualifications, assessment and education.

Over the next 12 months, we’ll lead a national programme of research and engagement, combining Teacher Tapp’s independent daily survey of over 10,000 teachers with AQA’s expertise and research in assessment - to create one of the most comprehensive views of classroom experience ahead of assessment reform. the year, we’ll share our work in three published reports, showing what teachers are telling us and ensuring those insights directly shape the future of AQA qualifications, assessment, and support for teachers, students, and schools.

Education never stands still. Neither do we. As assessment continues to evolve, our belief in working with teachers remains the same.

Teacher Tapp exists to make sure teacher voice is at the heart of education decision-making, so partnering with AQA during this pivotal moment for education in England is something we're really excited about. This partnership means our independent evidence base will have a direct line into the qualifications reform process. We're proud to be contributing our insights to the project, and to see teachers' opinions, experiences, and values directly shape the future of qualifications, assessment, and support for teachers, students, and schools.

Why has the programme been created?

Teachers have always played a vital role in shaping AQA qualifications. As assessment reform approaches, we're building on that tradition by creating even more opportunities for teachers to share their views and experiences with the help of Teacher Tapp’s surveys and research.

The Teacher Insight Programme, delivered in partnership with Teacher Tapp, will help us hear from more teachers, more often, so teachers can have their say about the future of the subjects they know and love.

Why get involved?

  • Have your say on the issues affecting education today.
  • Make your voice count in conversations about qualifications and assessment.
  • Be part of a growing community of teachers from across England.
  • Help inform what comes next through surveys and research.
  • See how teacher feedback is being used to shape future thinking and development.
