Celebrate European Day of Languages 2026 with AQA
Ideas and resources to help you celebrate with your learners
Looking for an easy way to celebrate European Day of Languages? We’ve got you covered.
Taking place on Saturday 26 September, this year’s event centres on the theme Languages Unite, celebrating the power of languages to connect people, cultures and perspectives.
To help you get involved, we’ve pulled together a range of ready-to-use lesson plans and classroom resources, so you can spend less time planning and more time inspiring your learners.

European Day of Languages highlights the vital role languages play in connecting communities, broadening horizons and fostering mutual understanding.”
