AQA to launch certificated course for financial skills

AQA is launching a new teaching and learning course to help learners develop the financial skills needed in everyday life.

AQA Financial Futures is a new approach to financial education, designed to build confidence through understanding and skills through application. It will provide engaging, bite-sized lessons which allow learners to progress through structured modules, with built-in assessment, at a pace that works for them. Learners are awarded a certificate when they pass each module and for the whole course. This exciting new platform will enable learners to gain confidence with money through relatable and accessible content.

AQA Financial Futures will launch to a limited number of centres in September 2026, with a full launch in September 2027.

The course saves planning time and supports non-specialist teachers to deliver a consistent and reliable approach to financial education, and everything you need is built into the platform. One early participant said, “I really think this should be essential for all students and nothing like this exists, all in one place.”
