Curriculum Connect: Strategies to Address Maths Anxiety
Following the positive response to our sessions on Maths anxiety, we’re pleased to launch a two-part series dedicated to this important topic, with a particular focus on FE learners, though teachers and educators from all phases are welcome to attend.
In this Curriculum Connect session, Sue Johnston-Wilder returns to build on the key ideas introduced in Part 1. Drawing on her work with the Mathematical Resilience Network, Sue will share a practical toolkit of strategies to support learners experiencing Maths anxiety, with a focus to rebuild confidence, reduce emotional barriers, and create a psychologically safer space for learning, all informed by classroom experience and research.
