Course summary

Join us online for the AQA A-level Psychology Teachers’ Conference on 30 June, 9:00am - 3:00pm. This year’s event features a programme designed to support and inspire colleagues teaching A-level Psychology. You’ll have the opportunity to join two masterclasses:

  • 'Understanding Attachment: A nuanced and critical approach' with Professor Elizabeth Meins
  • 'Why don’t SSRIs always work?' with Dr David Pitcher

You'll also hear from experienced teachers, including Dr Michael Hobbiss, co-author of How to Teach Psychology: An evidence informed approach, who will look at producing better extended writing ... by doing fewer of them, with practical strategies for strengthening evaluation skills. In addition, Nick Serifin founder of Psych Boost will reflect on how to challenge self-sabotaging learner behaviours.

The conference also includes an expert panel session, giving you the chance to submit questions directly to AQA specialists.

Whether you join us for the full programme or attend the sessions that best fit your schedule, we look forward to welcoming you to a day designed to inform, support, and strengthen your A-level Psychology teaching.

We invite you to register and take part in what promises to be a valuable and engaging event.
