Curriculum Connect: Identifying Maths Anxiety
Following the positive response to our sessions on Maths anxiety, we’re pleased to launch a two-part series dedicated to this important topic, with a particular focus on FE learners, though teachers and educators from all phases are welcome to attend.
In this Curriculum Connect session, we’re joined by Sue Johnston-Wilder, Associate Professor at the University of Warwick and one of the UK’s leading voices on Maths anxiety. Sue will introduce the work of the Mathematical Resilience Network, explore how Maths anxiety develops, and explain why it is not only common, but treatable.
Attendance at both sessions (MATXCT1 and MATXCT2) is encouraged for maximum benefit.
MATXCT1 - use this in communications with us.
For teachers of Maths, at any level.
