3. identify and evaluate four positive aspects of volunteering

4. select and use appropriate skills and methods to act as a positive role model for community arts programme participants

5. review their performance and evaluate how effective their actions have been in each session

6. take responsibility to build and maintain positive relationships with community arts programme participants

7. select and use appropriate techniques and skills to help and support community arts programme participants to participate in activities for each session

8. contribute to the creation of session plans and materials

9. support the facilitators to put away equipment after each session

10. represent the Community Arts Programme at an organised event or awards evening

shown knowledge of

11. the main purpose of the community arts programme

12. the vision and history of the community arts programme

13. the structure of a community arts session

14. the staff structure and roles of the employees at the community arts programme

15. the services available at the community arts programme for participants

16. at least two personal and two professional boundaries in a placement with community arts programme participants

17. at least three health and safety issues to consider when organising sessions or activities for community arts programme participants, including one issue that might be complex
